Maximize Profitable Keywords with Google AdWord's Keyword Research Tool

If you don't know already, Google AdWord's Keyword Research Tool is a must when looking for new domain names, content ideas, SEO, and high paying keywords to target with PPC advertising programs. If you haven't seen or used this tool before, take a minute and check it out.

One of the great features of the keyword tool is giving you alternate keywords and suggestions, along with approximate monthly search volume for those keywords and advertising competition.

(A proven traffic generation method when registering a new domain name is to choose keywords with high search volumes and use those keywords in the domain name. Since these keywords are in the domain, there is a great chance the domain will rank high in the search engines for those terms and with a lot of people searching those terms, the traffic potential increases greatly.)

Additional columns can be added to the display output, including a very useful "Estimated Avg. CPC". This is the estimated average cost-per-click and will tell you approximately what you can expect to pay for a single click of this keyword in an AdWords advertising campaign. It also gives you an idea of what you can expect to earn should your site be advertising for that keyword through AdSense. You can see which keywords are the most lucrative and which have the least amount of competition. This information comes in very handy when it comes to optimizing your site and maximizing your money making potential.

So take a look at Google's keyword research tool, start using it, become familiar with the terms and meanings of the information, then start putting it to work making money for you!

Have at it!
